GENERAL DENTIST, FILLINGS, X-RAYS, AND DIAGNOSTICS
McGlone Dental Care, Denver Colorado
McGlone Dental Care offers general dentistry, including fillings, x-rays, and professional diagnostics. We will take good care of you and help you have strong, healthy teeth.
Fillings
Cavities or tooth decay results when the outer layer of your teeth (enamel) breaks down and is damaged. Receding gum lines and cracks in your existing fillings can also result in cavities.
At McGlone Dental Care we can expertly repair and restore the decayed or fractured tooth with a filling that will strengthen and protect the tooth. If you don't fix the cavity it will get worse and you may need alternative dental treatments or may lose the tooth.
X-rays
When you come into our office with a tooth complaint or for a check-up, we will take x-rays of your teeth. X-rays taken inside of the mouth can help detect problems and suggest preventive services. The x-rays can provide a high level of detail of the tooth, bone, and supporting tissues of the mouth. Dr. McGlone uses the x-rays to look for cavities, tooth roots, bone around the tooth, periodontal disease, and for children, developing teeth.
At McGlone Dental Care, we use digital imaging which is the latest in dental x-ray technology available. With digital imaging the x-rays are sent directly to our computer and Dr. McGlone views them on a computer screen and can store and print them out.
Professional diagnostics
McGlone Dental Care offers you a broad range of professional diagnostics, including diagnostic imaging to help in diagnosing and planning your treatment.
Our office offers 3-D digital and conventional imaging, diagnostic reports, implant software training, and personal case planning and consultation. Our state-of-the-art technology like digital x-rays, digital record keeping, intraoral camera, CEREC CAD/CAM crowns, and inlays and onlays allow us to be more accurate with your dental care and more efficient with your dental records.
Routine dental checkups, twice a year, using our professional diagnostics are vital to your dental health and are the best way to detect problems and take care of them early.
